So I'm strolling along the golden passage to my residence after another jolly day at the local educational institution, when out of the blue I hear a most fine young lass calling out from behind me. She says "Ronald?" in a most glorious tone. I then turn around and see two girls together near a house, and another girl about 20 feet away near a car. Who the hell was calling at me? I don't know because I can't identify a person more than thirty feet away and I most certainly can't see their mouth move. She then shouts at me, "How are you?" I say "fine" in an unintentionally aggressive tone. I'm thinking it's my old Asian acquaintance Ashley, because one of the girls seemed to have similar black hair and the clothing looked familiar, but I couldn't tell and I didn't want to look a like a dumbass running up to some girl I probably didn't know well just to say "fine."

I just turned around and walked away, feeling like I just abandoned a fair young lady. :'(

But yeah, has someone ever tried to talk to you like an old friend but you have no idea who they are?

I have a hard time caring about most people that had vanished from my life and a hard time catching up most of the time.

Nyerp

Sometimes I randomly run into kids from my Elementary days and they're like "Hi, Nyerp!" and I just ignore them lol.

Socks

I try to avoid old acquaintances which might lead to an awkward situation due to a long period of inactivity or an end in relationship with bad terms.

Technology and globalism go hand and hand. If you want to be on the forefront of technology then you gotta be global

Wrench

One time at the mall. Kept hearing my name called but didn't want to turn around. I hate when I don't hear a familiar voice.

Kalahari Inkantation

Always happens to me. I don't wear vision enhancers outside of school, so whenever I go to other places and someone I know says "Hello" from far away, I can't tell who/here they are. edumacate;
It makes me feel as though I'm ignoring them, when I really just can't see them. :(
