There's no such thing as a good horror game. Some people consider games like Bioshock a horror game, but games designed for the sole purpose of scaring you, like Resident Evil and Silent Hill, are just complete shit.

Let us see you beat Mars Matrix without using a continue. If it's not hard, hell, you shouldn't even have to lose a life.

RPGs aren't hard in the least bit nor do they require skill--have a second grade reading level and you can take on anything featured in your language.

Shmups are known for being notoriously difficult and most gamers can't even beat a Gradius game, much less Ikaruga and Strikers 1945 and R-Type.

Resident Evil 4 is as far left as it can get on the 'fun' spectrum.

Just as all FPSes are, except shmups have fun added to them.

Also, Half Life is a terrible series.

huh.

At least in FPS you can look past the generic controls and admire the story

Irrelevant.
At least in a shmup you can look past the generic settings and enjoy the gameplay. Also, most FPSes have very similar stories which involve something like running for your life and escaping to a free world, saving earth, or rescuing some individual.

Read the topic title and go back fifteen minutes to see what was under the PC section.

Ikaruga vs. Gradius

Nothing alike aside from the fact they involve bullets.

Call of Duty series and Medal of Honor series: nothing different.
