wtf why aren't my golden hammers working (challenges)

I tried to break Complete Boss Battles On Intense and I heard some sound effect like it wanted to tell me no. I tried again on Complete Boss Battles On Very Hard and it did the same thing. I've never used a golden hammer before, so I have like four.

Why won't my golden hammers work? :(

They are a few objectives that they don't work on.

To encourage you to actually challenge yourself I guess.

um yea boss battles on Intense is completely impossible since there are no continues

so, the only challenges worth using the golden hammers on are ones that you aren't allowed to use them on? seriously, wtf.

Sakurai, I'm using Action Replay Wii when it comes out on this game just because you did that baddood;

I know, I tried to do that today too with Boss Battles Intense. All the other challenges are useless to use the Golden Hammers on.

That popping sound Charizard makes is just awful.
