Well, fuck me actually. My damn iPod froze. I was listening to a song the other day, and it just stops. I look at it, and it is halfway through the song, and it isn't paused. It is just frozen, plus my hold button is on. I plugged it into my computer, and it doesn't do anything.

This is the third iPod I would have broken if it doesn't start working. I am no good with electronics. I also have broke multiple phones in an 8-month span.

I suck.  dawkins;

Get a Zen, and by the way, iPods freeze either all the time or never; when it freezes, it doesn't really mean it is broken. Zen has a "reset" button so that if it freezes, which they don't, you can press it and it'll reset it. It just resets it, doesn't delete or reformat it. All music stays on it.

What do you think I should do? Let it sit and see if the battery eventually dies out?  sweat;

Why blame it on Mr. Jobs if you say yourself that you're "no good with electronics"? As Reaper suggested, just get a Zen or something.

Yes, let it die.

If you had a Zen, it would be fixed already  girl;

Is it still under a warranty? If so, return it.

what the hell?

Troubleshoot!

Flip your hold switch to the hold position, flip it back, then press and hold menu and your center select key until it resets.

Do none of you read manuals?

And the Zen sucks. But not nearly as much as a Zune.

did you try Restarting it?
Restarting an iPod? WHAT?

By holding down the Middle button and the Menu Button until it restarts  psyduck;

Though sometimes you'll have to flip hold back and forth first in order to get that going.

If you read carefully you would see that I said, "Fuck me, actually". This would imply that I wasn't serious about saying fuck Steve Jobs.  educate;

it is fixed. I came home, and the screen was blank. I put it on the charger, and it's charging.  hur;
