Thought wrong.

Oh, snap.
:O

Blech, I'm too tired to start arguing about the Earth.

What?
He's equating glaciers to icebergs. The ocean levels won't rise when icebergs melt but when glaciers melt, they run into the ocean and elevate the levels.

Icebergs are less dense than water. I learned that in science.

Everything that floats without any special shape is less dense than water.

You're a fucking scientist aren't you?

The water level doesn't change since the weight of the ice doesn't change.  If you have 5 pounds of water and you freeze it, it will take up more volume, but mass will be the same: a lower density.  The amount of water being displaced doesn't change.

OH NO NOT A NATURAL CYCLE AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH
ice on earth's arctic/antarctic regions are melting faster than they naturally have, putting more water into the cycle

The volume of the oceans isn't what matters (well if you live in Venice, then it does)--it's how much more is being rained down upon us.

You're an idiot.

Iron floats on mercury.

I learned this when I was about 2 and saw ice floating in my drink and knew ice is made from water.

and yes i have memories and possessed reasoning abilities at 2

It should theoretically be less dense than water since it floats on something and has a defined shape at room temperature.

But it's denser than water, and thus sinks.

and denser is a word

There have been more drastic climate changes to occur on this planet long before humans and long before modern technology, while there may be climate change happening it's still natural.

And this has what to do with water?

When did I say that humans did this?

Humans might have went "LOL WE'RE LIVING LIFE YAY" and the Earth might have went like "LADIDADIDA I'M BEING NORMAL, but hey, I feel a little off today..." and that little "off feeling" is just Humans living on the planet, and polluting.

Did we actually push Earth's natural cycle over the edge and beyond?

No, but we did poke it a little bit.

Climate changes are natural, yes, but we've been forcing this one

but there is a supposed global cooling now but that isn't an excuse to burn more fuels
