We departed at like noon on Wednesday

Now it's Thursday, and after many hours of travel we've arrived in an awesome town in the Alpes near Geneva

I'm confused because there was never a Wednesday night

Also, EDGE in France is really fast

When I left JFK for Europe last December we took off around 6 PM local time and arrived in Italy at 7 AM the next morning. Mind you it was only an 8 hour flight.
