I'm only a sophomore, but I was asked to go to prom at a school about an hour away. I nearly did, but there were complications.
I'm probably never going to go to one of my own proms. Our school has the shittiest, most hick infested themes every year. Last year our theme was "Fishing in the Dark." I'm almost afraid to see what this year's is.

The only one that has been bad was "The Red Carpet" it was my sister's senior year and she won prom queen. 

This years theme is based off of Casino Royale for some odd reason.

Probably just post-prom. My friends want me to have a party at my house instead, and then we'll head over for post-prom afterwards. I'll definitely go if I have a date, but there's no one I really want to ask.

I'm definitely not going my school's prom; it's a who-has-the-most-expensive-dress contest. I might go to my girlfriend's if she wants (hers is a who's-the-drunkest contest, which is slightly preferable).

Yes they are, mine was great, but yo don't have to go to prom to attend the after party.
