Camino is Mozilla based, but runs fast, although highly unstable each time I've used it and scroll bars randomly disappeared, never to return.

Excuse me, but Firefox 3 scores the highest on the acid 3 test.  Since the Acid2 test is your only problem with firefox that you can come up with and Firefox 3 passes it, I see no argument.  Acid 3 is there it's at and safari can't compete.
