Depends where you are. Indeed, card counting is not illegal, but many casinos are still allowed to operate as if it was illegal.

Well, the casinos can kick you out if they catch you cardcounting, but only because it's private property. They want to make a living cheating your money, not the other way around.  baddood;

I tried to convince my data management teacher to let us develop a system for card counting instead of the normal final project. He said no. :(


But yeah, casinos can kick you out for any reason they want because they own the place. If they think you're counting cards or anything else they decide is cheating (ie anything that makes you win), you're gone.

anyways, the advantage of card counting when you don't have a dealer playing by house rules is likely diminished
not that it's very much at all to begin with doodthing;
in conclusion, you're not going to strike it rich just because you found a new strategy and you're possibly a tad overconfident
