Why is everyone so opposed to snaking? I think that powersliding is a key asset to mario kart games. Without it, there is no skill what so ever.

Is that true? I'm too lazy to read the reveiw. I can understand snaking, even though I was a snaker. But if you can do that on Wifi, and I come across a race set with no items. I will not be participating in that race.

Listen guys, mkds, you're racing, and you get a blue shell. Suddenly you're now 3rd in place, but since you're so skilled at snaking, and you took the time to learn how to, you've got an upper hand. I don't get why people don't like snaking. It's just as much a strategy as using items are.

Items and snaking were/are apart of the game, if you take out snaking, all you have is a game where you have to leave it up to chance of getting good items to win. Where's the skill in that? There is no skill, it just becomes a game not worth playing.

I learned how to snake, just like everyone else did. If there's no learning curve, and advanced techniques to play, then it's not mario kart, and it'll end up in turn becoming repetitive. No snaking means all you're left with are the bikes, karts, and items. I hope they work in a way for you to actually become good at the game, and not just let you be at the mercy of everyone behind you.

You need to watch some online matches then. Dood shit is crazy. Items  like bananas make all the difference. Missing a MT can mean the race, especially if your opponent can PRB.
Look on youtube for anything on TB1, ZGhetto, Fabian DeSilva, and even the early legend Dr. House.
Snaking is what made the game for me.
Guarantee that some techinique will be figure out to make the game faster.
