okaay i was at first thinking spanish cause i thought it would be easier, and more convenient to learn for the area i live in. plus it's sort of a stepping stone to learning lots of other languages.

buut, i'm also interested in french cause it's the language of love, of course. and you can be like "heey, i know french" which is cooler then knowing spanish. pluus, i might be interested in working towards a fashion industry career, which could lead to a lot of work in paris, london etc.

so idk!!

I had to take spanish, french, latin, and german in New York. French is the second easiest (latin first) and it's rather similar to English. Also, French sounds good if you work at it for a while.

Spanish is just utter slop and no matter who speaks it it will forever remain the most annoying language in the world and no one gives a shit about the horrible language. Unless you live in Mexico or another shitty country, in which case go ahead. If you want to sound good and speak an awesome language that'll go well with some of our closest trading partners like Canada, take French.

and actuaallyy, i am deciding to go with french.
it seems just better all around, plus i have a good friend who's taking it and can help me if i need extra help in it. so i'm all set. thank you guys :)
