Discuss the shittiness of HP

My printer only prints in purple for some reason, and when I tried to print something tonight it just printed a blank page after about 7 minutes of what I assumed was actually spraying ink and then said it jammed and I couldn't do shit and unplugged it and now it won't power on.

I had to make a travel guide in Photoshop and a report and both need to be printed out by 7 AM, but the sack of shit won't even power on.

By god, HP is terrible.

I never had trouble with my HP Omnibook (though maybe that's because it was a special Intel employee version), nor my first HP printer.

My little HP scanner works fairly nice too. It's one of those little glass see-through ones. But I don't need it anymore. I have a bigger, better one now.

The scanner worked fine, but everything else was utterly broken.

My mom has had an HP all in one printer for I'd say 3+ years and it still works and has given her very little trouble. She also has had HP computers that have worked just fine and are still working.

My 3-in-1 worked until I upgraded to Vista.

Now I can't have the print-on-two-sides option button it it'll freeze.

Yeah, it's probably one of the worst companies ever that has a firm grip on one market. At least OS X eliminates the driver issue (unless you have a really obscure printer).

I usually just email stuff to myself an print it at school in the morning.

My old computer was an HP Pavilion Notebook and the battery wouldn't charge and HP wouldn't replace it. 

The harddrive on the desktop failed and HP wouldn't replace it. 

I'm not buying anymore of their products.

By the way, a point of interest: my Dell printer/scanner/fax/copier works better than my Mom's almost identical HP version, and hers was more expensive.

I have an HP all-in-one printer/scanner/fax/copier. Worst fucking machine ever.
Every time I want to scan something, I have to uninstall and reinstall it. That takes hours. The fax machine doesn't even work at all, and half of the time I print something, it doesn't print until the next time I turn my computer on. A little while ago I tried to print out a report for school or something and the printer wouldn't respond, so I just gave up. I turned it on the next day and 50 million papers flew out.

HP is the shittiest company ever.

For a prime way to slander HP, look at their shitty Compaq line. Compaqs have provided the worst experiences with computers I've ever had.

Too bad the drivers honestly do jack shit. When it does work, it'll print only in purple.

I used to have a Canon printer and it worked alright, but then it started printing dark, thick lines every half inch and eventually just died.

It lasted about 3 years or so.
