General opinions? Love or hate? Seen any shows, etc....
 
  I only really started getting into their stuff about a year and a half ago and was really intruiged by just how much was going on in each track. The first album I picked up was "yoshimi" and I kind of worked my way back from there. These guys have been around since the early 80's and their older works are just brilliantly insane. They've been getting quite a bit of commercial recognation in the past few years, I've noticed.

They're not bad, but I'm not a huge fan. Not something I listen to a lot.

I heard about that one album that's four discs that you're supposed to play simultaneously (I believe that was The Flaming Lips, not entirely sure), and I really wanted to check it out, but I haven't to actually listen to them yet.

it is them but its a pain in the ass to setup, i tried and just said fuck it and decided to listen to a version that violently combined them into 1.

Yeah, the four disker is zaireeka by the lips. It's really worth the set-up though.

I saw them live. They were pretty good, but I still haven't bought any of their CDs.
