For anyone that was wondering what is going on (Looks like only socks got it), I was testing a post with the iPod touch to see what it showed for the user agent.

Yeah I did that too earlier from my Touch and got the same thing.



As for Wi Fi, it is really good, I use a free network provided by the city that I get in my house. Even my lap top has trouble picking it up sometimes (Intel Next Gen. Wireless-N) but the iPod Touch picks it up too.

However for school, be careful, since Apple wanted to be a dick and not add VPN capability to the Touch I had to add it in from the iPhone apps. My school however (Penn State) does not allow Wi-Fi hand held devices to log into the school server (some BS about using the internett for studying etc...), even though I have full signal strength.

Well, the closest Wifi hotspot is approximately 0.69 miles from my house.
