Estimation refers more to an education guess while approximation is the result of the estimation.

That is an approximation, not an estimate.
You need educate.

oh god how did i miss this

Anyways, I'm glad to see that Lawlz has surpassed the entire rest of the mathematical community in the field of number theory.  And being able to ignore countless proofs.

But after the infinite amount of 0s, there is a 1.

.9999999999... = 1

Fact.

Look, in order for you to get 1 from .999999... by adding something, you would need to add, well, .00000...... with a 1 at the end. And since the zero's repeat for infinity, there is no end, therefore there is no 1, therefore .999... + 0 = 1.

its true
you'll never reach the end of the 0s but if you could there would be a 1 at the end doodthing;

If .9 (repeat) is equal to 1, then what is .9 (repeat) plus .0 (repeat) 1? Plz don't say .0 (repeat) 1 is 0. >_>

In case you do say it's 0 answer this... what is .0 (repeat) 1 times infinity? If it were 0 then the answer would equal 0, no?

I think it translates roughly to "I have a poor understanding of the real number system".

oh god i just keep seeing more people disagreeing with it and it's funny but also kind of depressing

would anyone who still believes that .9999999... repeating on to infinity does not equal one please step forward so that you can make your case
also so it will be easier to shoot you

Think about that for a second.  Does an infinite number of anything with a 1 at the end make any sense whatsoever?  doodthing;
