Cats are smelly, boring, and entirely uninterested in befriending humans.

Lies. Cats are the most interesting animals I've ever met. And they do have an interest in befriending humans. Try to pet a cat you don't know nor haven't spent much time with. After a while you can earn their trust and they will trust you, up until the point that they will follow you everywhere and do whatever you want. buw;

Greatest post I've ever read that had to do with cats. thumbup;

Anyway, I had a dog named Max when I lived in New York. I forget what his breed was called, but he was puffy like a Pomeranian. though he was much larger.

When we were moving to Florida, we weren't sure if he would be able to handle the heat, and gave him to some relatives.

Daddy

Dogs are cooler than cats.

huh? goonish

Yeah, I have never smelled stinky cat. Cats are the cleanest animals on the planet. No one complains about "wet cat smell" which would be odd since most cats hate water. Cats clean themselves and use the bathroom in places where it is hidden from society, unlike dogs who just take a shit anywhere they feel like it. Cats are sophisticated beings. Dogs are the heathens that plague the Earth.

Except that with the ones that are really old, they really don't follow you anywhere and just find one favorite spot to sleep in for like 16 hours a day.

Also, I still want an explaination on how Title would think cats are smelly at all. They really don't have any scent at all, good or bad. Lots of dogs stink, not cats. Unless you found a cat that somebody threw in the dumpster, it shouldn't stink.

Old cats will try to keep up, although they are less nimble and can't really leap onto the computer desk off of the office chair like they used to. And yeah, if you are sitting somewhere they will come up to you with their smiling faces and cute meowing :3

Agreed, explain how a cat would smell.

Selkie

That's sad, cause I've never had a dog...

Litterbox?

Honestly, doesn't stick that much. Cat feces smells better than dog feces. That shit...
And it's easier to clean because they go in one place. The Litterbox is the cat's toilet. The world is a dog's litterbox. That's sick.

Pele

Cats are boooooring.  doodthing;

Litterbox?
Litter is designed to eliminate any odor and cats actually cover up their stuff after using the litterbox. Not to mention that many cats go outside where they still bury the stuff under dirt.
Dogs just poop and leave their junk in the middle of the ground.

Exactly, unless they are shitting in a litter-less box...then you shouldn't own a cat. doodella;

The Hand That Fisted Everyone

I had a dog that was half-chow, half german sheperd. He's gone missing and I'm so depressed  >.<

Dogs are highly unintelligent and ugly and annoying and just generally stupid.

I've never had one nor will I ever.
