so um bittorrent ratios

I listen to artists that aren't usually the most seeded things(there are some albums that I'm lucky to find 2 peers for). and if I have the thing sitting there for 2 weeks and no one is downloading, I just remove it.   This rapes my ratio though.   There are some things in high demand though, but unfortunately Transmission only lets me seed a torrent to a 3.0 ratio, and I can't higher that. 

Is there a way to reset the ratio of a certain download so I can seed it to 3.0 multiple times?
