help me in super metroid

im at some part where it looks like you need the speedy thing to get past rocks that crumble after you go over them, but i dont have that upgrade yet. i have charge beam, missles, super missles, and morph ball+bomb. i try to go back the other way but i cant because there is one of those doors that only opens from the other side when you shoot a switch above it.

the enimies in the room are the plant looking things that shoot 5 thorns (1 up, 1 each in the diagonal directions, and 1 each in horizontal directions parallel to the ground). above the cumbley rocks are spikes so i cannot jump over them

hopefully you can maybe know where i am. halp plz

Is it that room where you can't jump up because the water won't let you and you can't jump across the water because you hit the ceiling? If it is, go to options in game and deselect the super jump.

there is no water.
