Media Violence

   Todayââ,¬â,,¢s youth is facing something more dangerous than drugs, that something is media violence. This violence is in almost anything they watch or play, from TV shows to Video games, media violence is there to take a blame. First off video games are a big factor in the violence cases and youths. Say if somebody has been playing a violent video game and goes to shoot a school or mall up like the kids during 1999 and columbine and the mall shooting that happened in 2006. The columbine students edited Doom levels to make it look like the High school, This supposedly made it easier for them to go on with their deadly rampage. As for the guy that shot up a mall, all he liked to do was go on some website called ââ,¬Å"Vampire Freaksââ,¬Â� where he posted pictures of himself with his gun collection in black clothing resembling a ââ,¬Å"vampireââ,¬Â�. Now take the VT massacre where 32 people died, Though Bulling drove Cho to do it, the pictures he sent NBC resembled a movie where the main character of the movie posed with guns toward the camera just like Cho did. All of these rampages lead to one closure, Media violence. It always seems to be means of escape more than bullying.
   One reason I think Media Violence should not be blamed for shootings like Columbine or Virginia Tech, is that its not always the video game or movie the people or person watches. Its probably a Mental health problem or the kids donââ,¬â,,¢t think they fit in the environment.
