Fantasy Zone is absolutely orgasmic.Saturn is a great console; Xbox 360 is for idiots, the PS1 is utter shit and everything that was passible had a superior Saturn version, and the PS2 is just utter slop that only did arcade compilations right.

The Master System isn't amazing like the Genesis was, but it certainly beats the Dreamcast.

So whats good on the SMS and Saturn again?

also u 4got to say
gamecube suxs
when did i say that psyduck;

The Master System isn't great, but it has a quite a few good games. Fantasy Zone is just one of the absolute bests.

It's the only game you've mentioned in the thread.

Anyway, I'm not wasting $5 on SMS games. I haven't downloaded anything from the VC console yet and I don't really plan to.

this thread is now about super mario world

this means super mario world is the only good super nintendo game
ps. that's a lie because the super nintendo has hundreds of amazing games
I only mentioned Fantasy Zone because that was the only one confirmed so far aside from something else no one cares about. Gangster Land and the Wonder Boy series are pretty damn good, but that's not all the system offers. Also, the first Sonic game on the SMS is better than Sonic 1 on the Genesis.

Yes, when the new rig can do much more than your puny Xbox.

And even a computer from 2004 can play most modern PC games at medium settings.

Also, upgrading is cheap.

Also, you choose to pay $60 for a game instead of $40-50.

Well one gets ideas when it's the only game you mention in the entire first thread when people specifically ask about games for a system that hardly anyone here (obviously) knows shit all about. It's not like we're talking about the SNES, a system that everyone here knows (or should) know about and can name at least 5 games for it off the top of their head.

Also, I'm loving that multiplatform games are selling better on the "idiot box" then the PC. It's a sad day for PC games when the only game that hits over a million in 2007 was an expansion pack to a 4 year old game. You have multiplatform games selling better on the PS3 then the PC.

Wait, wait, wait, are you trying to insinuate something completely and utterly idiotic like 360 games must be good because they sell better than the PC counterparts? Or is it something else equally idiotic?

Also, you know what the problem is? Americans are dumbasses and don't know  half of what a computer is capable of. If every retard would wipe out the idea that computer parts are thousands of dollars and computer games are hard to play, I'm sure they'd all become much more popular.
Quote"idiot box" then

Also, teens buy whatever's on MTV. Computers, aside from social networking slop, are viewed as "geeky"; whereas a computer with a 30% failure rate marketed as a game console is an essential and needs to be in every room and vehicle.

Oh, I was hoping to trap you into making an assumption of your own. Looks like I failed this time, but it was worth a try.

Not once in my post did I say the PC was better then the 360 nor did I say the 360 was better then the PC. I was simply stating the facts. It's not my fault that a large majority of gamers that actually can run modern games simply use torrents to download the game instead of actually buying it. That's one point where consoles are better then PCs, people actually buy the fucking games and support the developers.

Now, I'm not pigeonholing every PC gamer, again I'm simply stating the facts. This is why PC gaming, overall, is down from what it previously was.

...

That's not the problem. The problem is that most Americans just don't know how powerful their computers truly are or are still under the assumption that PC games are hard to play or "not as good" as the console versions, when it's really just the opposite. Probably the only time this wasn't true was with RE4, since the PC version was utter balls and the GC was better than it in every way.

Those that torrent/crack/whatever games makes up a small minority of PC gamers, about .1 percent or less. I doubt many will pirate games such as Bioshock or the Orange Box, though I suppose it might be possible in some way to pirate them and somehow crack them... The Orange Box being pretty much if not impossible. Yes, you can easily pirate most any game from about 5 years ago and play it with no trouble (so people that pirate them aren't included in that .1%), but most recent ones are pretty damn hard to crack.

Also, modchips, burned games, etc. Piracy of console games is just as common as PC.

What's really taking a heavy hit now, aside from old consoles, are handhelds. A hefty chunk of dumbasses are pirating GBA and DS games and say it really won't do a thing. I know for sure piracy of handheld games is more than twice as prevalent as PC games, since there's no serial input or validation process or anything. Games are still selling rather well, even though tens of thousands are regularly just stealing the games, every day.

FACT: PC games aren't commonly pirated.
FACT: Pirating and playing a console game is just as "easy" as a PC game, and just as prevalent, with handhelds being even easier and more commonly exploited.
FACT: You're full of baloney.
FACT: The 360 has a 30% failure rate and  little to no exclusives.
FACT: PC production is almost perfected, and while they do fail, they fail far less than the 360 and PS3 and can do millions of more things and play thousands of exclusive games.

If pirating is so "easy" on consoles why are games still selling on consoles? Obviously pirating is a big enough problem to make PC games not sell as well as they should. Either that, or all of the games just fucking suck and we know that's not true. What you say is probably true, a lot of people probably have misconceptions about PC gaming in general. However, when a game sells 7 million copies and only 300,000 copies are sold on the PC, something is wrong. When established franchises fail to hit a hundred thousand copies sold in two months, something is wrong. Something is fucking wrong.

FACT: PC games are pirated. And that 1% of PC gamers that do pirate games are part of the 2% that give a shit about modern games on the PC. The other 98% only care about World of Warcraft and The Sims.
FACT: Multiple developers who have created popular PC titles have complained about piracy.
FACT: Even if pirating consoles games is easy, it's not hurting software sales at all. Handhelds do not equal consoles. If only .1% of PC gamers pirate games then .0001% of console gamers do.
FACT: I am full of organs and various fluids, not baloney. Though if I was full of baloney, I assume I would go quite well with some bread and mayonnaise.
FACT: The 360 has a 30% failure rate? No shit and Microsoft is fucking stupid for letting the problem hang around a year and a half after launch.
FACT: PCs can do more things then consoles? Wow, my mind has been blown away. I had no idea a videogame console would regulate me to only playing videogames.

Fine, then why aren't PC games selling? Because every single PC owner is a fucking idiot who doesn't know how to use his/her computer? That's a broad generalization right there. Or is it just because there is a lack of interest in PC gaming?

Please, inform me.
