Once I get a new computer I wanted to wire my old computer to both monitors I own, one is my TV and the other is my computer monitor. Also wanted to wire a new computer to the same two monitors.

So 2 computers, able to switch to the same 2 monitors. If it isn't possible for under $40 then I will just wire one to both monitors and the other to one of the two with those switch boxes. Also I'd have to wire the keyboards and mice to switch along with the monitors (each monitor has its own keyboard and mouse set.)

Also will it hurt something like a hard drive if I place my tower next to a speaker? The speaker is about the same size as the tower and the magnet would destroy a monitor, which it actually did to my brother's monitor because he placed his speaker near it about the same as mine. Whats at risk if I do that?
