So my uncle (who is a farmer/truck driver) says to my Grandpa "So how you celebrating Nigger day?"

Huh. My parents are the kind of people who are absolutely terrified to say anything that might even be remotely related to anything racist.

Just today my mom was like "Oh look, a penny!", and I said "you jew." and she freaked.

My family is pretty much all from the northeast so I really don't think any of my older relatives would be very racist against blacks, if at all. I know my great grandma, who's 97, still says "oh, that woman of color across the hall is so nice.", but she certainly doesn't say .
