My mom has cancer. Skin cancer, to be exact. I'm scared shit out of my mind, considering my father died from cancer and now my mother has it.

I hope she doesn't die...

I think that skin cancer isn't as bad as most of the cancers but no need to make it sound friendly. Hopefully she'll be fine but man, I suggest you get tested for cancer every year Lozal.
