I don't believe his age is ever stated, but based of the appearance of his peers I'd guess he's like 10.

He's in school, at least in the first grade if not higher. How can you not remember all the episodes in which he's in school? The original episode with Mandark gives the impression that Dexter had experienced the "first day of school" before and loved it.

He's at least 7 or so. I'm pretty sure he's 10 also, though.

He's never skipped ahead when he's clearly smart enough, so why would they skip him up so far and stop?
