Today I was slacking off in class.   I decided to check out Download Squad  and I came across an interesting  app; it is called Wubi.

http://www.downloadsquad.com/2007/05/10/wubi-makes-ubuntu-a-snap-for-windows-users/

QuoteI'd wager that there are a huge number of Windows users who would probably be quite happy with Ubuntu Linux as their day-in day-out OS of choice. If only there were an easy way to try Ubuntu out on your windows machine without breaking anything, repartitioning or dealing with the diminished performance of a Live CD.

You're in luck. Wubi takes the hassle out of installing Ubuntu on a loopback file system located on your Windows partition, while making it bootable just like a real-deal Ubuntu install. In fact, it _is_ a real-deal Ubuntu install, albeit in a slightly unconventional manner. If you go glassy eyed at the word "loopback", don't worry.. it's just a fancy way of saying that your whole Ubuntu install is self-contained and stored in a single large file on your Windows drive.

I will probably try this.

Nice, awesome;

I might have to try it
Yeah.  I will probably use this until I can install an actual partition for Ubuntu.

If only it supported Macs...
Waste of time.  hur;
You pretty much just admitted OS X is superior. spam;
...

How did I do that?

I meant it was a waste of time making it compatible for macs, as not many people use them.

Not as many people use Zunes as iPods. OF FUCK, TOSS OUT YOUR ZUNE, NOW. IT'S A MASSIVE WASTE.

Why would someonw with a perfect OS need Linux? yeah.

It depends how you read it. If you're such a Mac-Nazi then of course you'd think that that's what he was implying, but judging by the choice of emote and by knowing Milad I can conclude he's saying that it would be a waste of time to make software for a Mac. Even though many people use Macs and almost everything these days are released on Macs and PC's, that's what he's saying.

sounds kinda like that one program that starts with  V that i forgot the name of. I use a live cd on my old pc since the HDD is busted.
