If I remember correctly, Tezuka and some of the other big guys that made those great original black and white shows/books all worked in the same studio.

Of course, you have Gigantor, Astro, Big O, and all the other good things, it's so hard to tell.

I think Big O is pretty much completely irrelevant though, and really doesn't even look much like any of the aforementioned series. I have no idea why Astro Boy always reminds me of Big O, but it does.

Kaz, I don't know. A lot of artists based their items off Disney/Tezuka, so it's probably why Big O is in that style.
