Somewhat.  I like the general set up, but there are somethings could change.   The recent posts thing you added can go on the right into something like GameStop has for news articles, while the left area holds articles maybe?

Umm, okay. I'll try. I'm a little confused so I'll probably do it wrong.

The simplicity is good, obviously the aesthetics aren't. Fluid-width is bad, for one, and I like JMV's idea of having a sidebar for articles just by that author. Do it by just querying the database of everything that has a set variable (article author) in the Author column of the articles table, presuming there is one.
