Yeah, it's just not often that I get to make a plug for Meier's excellent TBS's china;

Go with Civ IV if you get one.

That's what I was thinking, but I'm not entirely sure if I can run that or Rome: Total War on my computer. I mean, the website said I had enough fro the recommended, but I'm still not entirely sure.

You might end up having to adjust the graphics...

That would suck considering it would cut certain animations out.

If that doesn't work out, go with Civ II. Civ III is probably the worst game in the series imo. Graphically, it's better, but I personally found it a lot less enjoyable.

okay, I'll cut civ 3 i guess. It seemed like a middle ground between 2 and 4, but if you say it's not as good, okay.
