I'd say that bothering with Lawlz isn't even worth doing at this point.  I didn't think it was serious at first, but he really is the core of the problem.  With someone like that in charge, what hope does this place have?  

I can say pretty safely that if I came across this forum without any prior knowledge, seeing a few threads here would scare me away for good.

Lawlz, you say that people who don't visit often don't matter.  Have you ever considered the fact that potential members are people who don't visit often, or more likely, haven't even seen the forum before?  You can't treat this place like established members are the only ones who count.

This is definitely a problem. While there are people like Kaz who try to make new members feel comfortable, the intro threads are still plagued with "bend over fag" and "fuk u " posts (although V has mercifully stopped posting).

My forum?  I'm not the highest power there.  Outsider has multiple administrators, and plenty of them are capable of running a forum just fine.  Activity is dropping, I already brought this up.  I don't post a lot anymore, just because of how boring everything has become.  when I see something worth a post, I post.  In general, the place just bores me now.

As long as the idiots are around, they're gonna miss out on potential activity.  I'd say it's worth trading off a few idiots for the chance at actually getting new members.

If someone shows up and instantly contributes to the community, cool. Back when Clasquelous or whatever first joined, I had respect for him without even knowing him. He was, and still is, a fine member from the start. He's not active, but he's done no wrong so I do see him as a fine person.

Then there are people like you that login just for a couple of hours of bitching. Of course I'm not going to give a damn about those people, like you and ZGDK.
