Undo the hack, run CS3, deal with the "2 day" bullshit, redo the hack, relaunch application. Worked for me.

Didn't the full version of CS3 release?

I don't know if it works on the full.

I do need to update, though. Full retail of CS2 and the only PPC machine I have is a 1ghz PowerMac G4 from 2003.
