I'm thinking of trying to get certifications from Microsoft, Apple, and Linux(uhm ubuntu specifically).

How useful would such certifications be in the career industry?  How about when paired with a Bachelor's in Computer Science?

guff

uh depends on what you plan to do psyduck;

also, what type of certifications there are many many many

you're really going to go into a career in technology?

navi; should've gone into something like medicine where there's a high demand and you can easily make hundreds of thousands of dollars a year

How the fuck should I know?  I started 2 months ago and you expect me to know what my plans are in 4 years?

Ideally it would be to get a job somewhere I can use the skills I gained.

but ya ur right

$100,000+ a year only 30,000 dollars am i right.

also do you lack the comprehension to realize how competitive the medical field is?

Once again you show how truly retarded you are when it comes to anything related to computers.

lets see

first one is information technology so being certified in windows, os x, and linux couldn't hurt since you're never sure which system they will be using.

the other one is a programming job, and i linked to an os programmer and its pretty obvious that having knowledge of different operating systems will halp there

Cool really because the medical profession is heavily, heavily understaffed and maybe if you weren't such a fucking dumbass and didn't spend your time on internet forums you would have gotten off your ass in high school and wouldn't be going to such a shitty college and might have an opportunity to make some money instead of linking me to statistics on fields that I know you're a)not smart enough and b)not hard working enough to enter

& u dun kn0w stuff ab0u7 c0mput3rz ur dum

Okay you're a complete dumbass.

I got accepted to UAT and UMass.  I can barely afford my school, you fucking retard.   That's why I go here.  Not everyone grows up in a nice condo in New York, and goes around pretending to be all bad ass.

If you think that going to internet forums instead of focusing on working prevents you from going to a good college, allow me to do you the favor a preventing you from hindering your future in the medical field.

Explain how $100,000+, which is well above the median income here, in a field that I'd actually enjoy  is better then not much more money in a field that costs much more to get into( college is more expensive, and much longer), pays only slightly more, and that I wouldn't enjoy at all?

Not everyone is a capitalist faggot whose only goal in life is to make as much money as possible regardless of whether or not they want to do what they are doing.

Now, as you said, going to internet forums instead of studying prevents you from going to college. I wouldn't want you to miss out on your chance at Yale, little boy.  I'll do you the favor of banning you.
