A good digital camera for under $250?

I wasn't planning to buy anything from Sony. You get more for you money with other brands that are just as well-known.

Even the Coolpix models cheaper than those two are still better than a lot of cameras these days.

5mp or more and MAKE SURE THE CAMERA'S REFRESH RATE IS GOOD. Make sure it looks nice too.

Those cameras are terrible for $249. Also compact cameras cost a shit load more but the camera I posted is just as good but takes amazing video (just not good at lighting nor sound if it's too loud) for $50 less.
