but right clicking on the damn mightyblah thing on the power mac g5 i use doesn't always work
and the scroll ball is too small and hard to use and apple sucks when it comes to making and utilizing input devices oh my god

anyways you could just be control-clicking

okay thats never happened to me It does occasionally lag for a few seconds but other than that I haven't had a problem besides the scroll ball being not all that comfortable for everyday use.

Input devices, such as Game pads or Mice should not lag. Every other thing, there's room for it.
