Okay first of all, I use Vista Business in school for Computer Networking for 2 & 1/2 hours everyday under the administrative account, so I do mess with it from time to time.

My problems with it would be:

The hardware requirements. Why do you need a 128MB card to run transparency at 1680x1050? I can run Transparency on Windows XP at 1920x1080 and still not have problems using only 64MB. Itself at startup uses over 600MB of RAM (but XP only uses maybe ~160 when you first install it, i'm comparing those two together). Even though Aero looks nice (But gets a bit "Meh" over time) it's not worth it honestly.

They rearranged too many things with the start menu, control panel, and all the other odd shortcuts of XP, which annoys me because I was looking for the correct network connections page for about 10 minutes (SO many god damn subdirectories). UAC isn't as annoying as I thought it would be, but it seems pointless in some areas (Resourse Manager? Why does it need permission to monitor disk usage?) Not to mention that sometimes Explorer windows will randomly lock up (User accounts mainly) forcing me to kill explorer.exe.

I'm not even going to go into programs that won't run on Vista for whatever problems it might have.

What do I like about it though? Nothing anymore, Aero's wow wore off the beginning of october, and that was the only thing I liked about it to begin with.

K i'm done, comments or questions (Besides "duh, stupid")

If this is supposed to be about what you "really think about Vista", then why are you just comparing it to its predecessor? psyduck;

Because... It was 12 am when i wrote it, and that's the only thing I can compare it to at the moment.

Wait, what? psyduck;

lol wut

By top-end, I really mean a bit better than average. if i meant s00per top end then an Apple computer would be like $20,000+.

A better than average Mac would be about $1500-$2000, a better than average Windows computer would be about $1000.

Apple doesn't really sell anything BUT top-end computers...
