So I was playing Ikaruga and doing pretty damn good and beat the boss of the fourth chapter, then after it blows up it says I earned the rank of dot eater (you only get that if you don't fire a single shot... and I had to fire many thousands to kill the boss) and it moves on to chapter 5 and there's no music.

Then I die and return to the title screen, earned some high scores, and it says I didn't complete chapter 4 so I can't practice beating the boss.
