Did you know that Xbox controllers still use AA batteries? Even the $150 Xbox Elite Controller doesn't include a rechargeable battery, but Microsoft sells a battery pack separately for yet another $25. Or you can just use NiMH batteries.

i was completely surprised to see that there's yet another controller in production in the year of our lord 20XX that takes disposable batteries exclusively, from a company that specializes in and basically monopolizes pc gaming no less

the only other controllers i have that take disposable batteries are wii remotes lol

of course i keep a supply of AAs myself for my mouse/wii remotes/etc. but still

I just finished the first route (Fate/Saber) in the Fate stay night VN.

idk if I'll continue to the other two routes. This is a really long VN. I mainly wanted to see the Fate route because the original f/sn anime botched it so badly. UBW has a much better anime adaptation and Heaven's Feel is getting pretty good movies.

anyway the game is really good but why does it start you off with so little health and force you to fill your bar up with obscure upgrades? i don't really jive with that change to the formula tbh

also extra bitching: the mega man x legacy collection doesn't have any sort of savestate system whatsoever, just the option to save your current password, which would be fine except now i'm forced to do all of the last stages in a row with no option of taking a break

let me be a filthy casual procrastinator, those stages are really difficult

yeah but we didn't quite get the full 102% because john was too much of a PUSSY to sit and wait for me to try to get the dk coin in fiery furnace (because it's a pain to get and if you fuck up you have to replay the whole level to try again)
