Yes. Most SH fans agree that SH2 is the best and SH3 is somewhat a direct sequel to SH1
I agree that SH2 is the best, even though SH3 is my favorite.


I would have said 'just buy the HD collection' but it's broken.

Well, I just beat Devil May Cry 3. I was playing on normal and only got a B rank on every single mission...except somehow I got a C rank on Mission 19, and an A rank on Mission 20.

I started out thinking this game was really hard, but it actually became just mildly challenging as I went on and got used to the controls, and gained new abilities.

I ended up absolutely loving Agni and Rudra, by the way. Fantastic weapons when used with Swordmaster style.

I got almost everything, but I need some more orbs to buy abilities for Nevan, three more blue orbs, and two more purple orbs. Also I missed the last secret mission apparently.

okay so after i finished dmc3 i still wanted more but i didn't really feel like trying hard mode or vergil on that game yet so i popped in dmc1

i guess i was just retarded or too new to action games when i first got this game and thought it was 2hard, because it's really not lol

the controls still annoy me though, just like they did then

and dear god, after playing 3, the sheer lack of available skills and combos is uggghh, and dante looks and sounds retarded compared to how he is in 3

anyway, two and a half hours in, and already 8 missions done. this game must be only like...6 hours long, then. a lot shorter than dmc3 (an already short game).

if you just want to try one out, honestly, just get the third one (special edition, of course)

if you don't like that one, give up on the series lol
