Well I mean it would work like the normal emotes but it would post the image tags with the image link inside so it would display the image for everybody

uh I have stated like 400 times in the last year that I will not be doing any major changes to features / themes/ etc until we move to 2.0

No point in coding a change for all the themes for it to need to be redone once we move.
