no.  it's just any sort of admin/mod retention would just end up being a popularity contest.

I wouldn't want admin elections unless it was options from people that are already admins.
and really, many of the mods right now are pretty popular 

It's not like boyah's a giant forum where things would go completely wrong with this. we all know each other, most of us like most of each other, and I don't see us "rising up" against you or anyone else because you deleted x thread or whatever, seriously

I think the boards should have more categorization besides "important" and "general".
How about Important (Boyah Awards and Announcements), General Discussion (Lobby, Serious, and Anonymous), Media (Vidya, Arts, Anime/Manga), and then Special Interests (Food, Sports, Tech, Sleep) and maybe an IRL section for IRL board (that name sucks) and the Market?
