Has any band/book/movie/painting/whatever changed you in a large way? Not even necessarily changed you, but had a large impact on your life. I don't mean 'large' as in "omg i dumped my gf in 7 grade cuz she sed panic at the disco sucked", I mean it as in something that really affected your life. (You don't have to post how it actually affected you, you can just post what it was and if it was a band, book, etc.)

The band Explosions in the Sky, for me. Their music is really powerful, and I hear a lot of people say it affected their lives in a big way, too.

Samus Aran

The Doors are the band that started my overall taste in music, as well as the band that got me really wanting to write poetry and lyrics. Led Zeppelin started me on the guitar.

Selkie

Journey was the band that really got me to like misuc, when I was a young kid (4-5)

Shut up  :|

Also, a lot of songs just give me a weird feeling like making my life feel a certain way during the time I am listening to it often. Cassandra Gemini right now.

FullmetalGanon

Twista got me into rap a while back in the 6th grade.

isnt he handsome? yes;

Claquesous

After finishing Elfin Lied and watching the intro over and over, I have an obsession with surrealist art.

I'd have to say This one dude's work. He drew porn and it was the first I saw, but he died a while ago from heart attack.

I think he went by Goijobi or some shit.
