Uh, first off, there are plenty of thing that make you stupid; smoking is not number one on that list.

Second, I don't smoke either. i Do have a pack in my room, from when my cousin/ best friend got expelled from school and told me I should take up smoking, because it had done wonders for her, and handed me the box. Haven't spoken to that girl in 3 years now.

The only reason I really think it's stupid is that people do it to be cool. Or to get attention. Or they pretend to do it to get attention. Also, it's no cheap habit.
Hell, cutting yourself would be better, and probably more attractive in the long run.
