Right so one of my PCs, the Compaq, is having some problems. When I turn it on it goes to the Windows Professional  log-on screen and asks for a password even though there is no Admin password on that computer. So then if I just enter no password and log on it logs on but before it loads all the icon and start menu it logs off.

Any suggestions? Should I just wipe the HDD and put Windows back on. Its got a Pentuim IIII so I can't load Mac on it  gonk;

Then load Mac on it.

I don't think it would run on a Pentuim processor

and would I have to do anything with the BIOS?

OH HOW THE TABLES HAVE TURNED

also second time you called it a pentuim

oh and good luck getting an unmodified version of os x running on it
by which i mean it won't work

just go with osx86 if you must

I wasn't really going to load OS X on it anyway, its a stupid idea in this situation IMO. I'll just load Windows XP back on it when I get back
