Most are old Dells and Gateways, I think.  I don't have any classes currently in which I'd use them.
In TV Production, though, we've got Macs.    Each of the two teams has a G5 Mac Pro, which are decent in terms of performance, but outdated.  There's also a G4, which I'll hesitate to call a Mac Pro because A) not sure if that's what it was called and B) given the risk of A being true, I don't want Lawlz or other macfags to yammer about how wrong I am.  It does have a dual-processor setup, though.  The account we use on it is limited, though, so I can't install anything that would be useful.  I just read information about Blender on it while everyone else actually works.

also single button mice suck assballs
god damn i could go without a right click but i need a christing scroll wheel
POWER MAC FAGIT. If it's a PPC, it's Power. If it runs on an Intel processor, it's a Pro.

Also, Apple knows jack shit about scroll balls. The average life-span of a Mighty Mouse scroll ball is two weeks---and that's being generous.

blah blah blah yadda yadda

Eh, the other group's G5 has a Mighty Mouse.  I don't like the scroll ball that much, and the absence of a middle-click is still sucky.

god damn i have to hold down so many modifier keys to do anything in blender :'(

If it has a scroll ball, it has a middle-click; that'd be the center button. Each button's function is customizable from the system preferences, which I bet you don't have access to so the middle click is probably set to nothing.

And I think those "one-button" mice you were referring to have a right-click and a left-click.

uh if they do it's not as simple as just clicking in the middle psyduck;

also god damn separate the buttons
sleek designs should not beat out usability

dunno maybe but for being so easy to use macs are complicated :(
also how the hell do i press a teeny tiny ball

uh doubt it
holding a click on the g5 seems to effectively be a right-click, but given the wait involved, control clicking or apple clicking depending on the application is easier
