Tips for IF forums

I just got around to fixing my forum, yet it seems so dull. Just the basic boards and a nice looking layout. Nothing special. What should I add on in order to make it less boring? Like maybe a arcade or something, what are some good suggestions?

Yes, I know IF forums suck, but you have to start some where.
