My sister's moving to Croatia, so today we went over to her house and had a pre-garage sale house cleaning,  where basically I could take anything I wanted that that she wasn't taking with her. I got:

- An N64, with 3 or 4 games and a couple controllers
- A Windows 95 era Dell laptop
- Region free DVD player
- Old clacky keyboard (I love old clacky keyboards)
- Bluetooth mouse
- A stack of anime DVD's, including tons of Hellsing and Chobits

And the real gem, her old PC (old as in, two weeks old). ATI X700 Pro graphics, AMD 3000+ CPU, 2gb RAM... 12gb HDD... it's pretty nice. I replaced the HDD and am in the process of putting an x86 version of OS X on it.

Daddy

Why is she moving to Croatia? I had a friend who is from there.

Her boyfriend lives there, they've been going back and forth seeing each other for the last year or two. They're engaged now.

Also, why the hell would an even relatively new computer only have a 12 gigabyte harddrive? The operating system takes more than that  psyduck;

She somehow fit XP, Civ IV, The Sims 2, Fallout 2, and a couple other games on there plus some music and other media. It wasn't the primary drive, though; she took her main out. I have several 60 and 80gb drives, so I'll use one for a shiny new XP installation and another for OS X.

Are you going to be using this over your MacBook Pro?
Do you have a first gen MBP?

Hell no. I'll use it occasionally, when I game or have to do something that Windows is better suited for (get spyware, for instance).

And yes, my MBP is first gen, however does not have any of the first gen flaws (CPU buzz, etc).

Oh
Because I was about to say
The MacBooks are quite a bit more powerful than the first-gen MBPs
I believe yours has something like a 1.83 Core Duo with 512 RAM.
