no it's just that rechargable batteries are much more practicle. We have about 24 of them roaming around the house and oh lord I <3 them

the tv remote needs batteries
i scavenge the house for batteries and i find the pretty silver ones and pick them up, insert into remote. i throw other batteries in charger and within about 4 hours i can toss them into another deep dark corner of our house for when something else runs out of batteries

sounds neat huh
