My school calls if you miss school and don't have a doctors note.

I sometimes don't go to classes, but I don't think I've ever skipped school entirely... it's usually just not worth it. Plus if I miss a day of school for any reason other than a funeral, I'm illegible for skip-a-final, which is a very nice thing to be eligible for.

Usually if I don't feel like going to a particular class I can just sleep through it, anyway.

I also had good enough relationships with a few teachers last year that I could just ask to go to the library and "work on homework" or something and they'd let me.

I've skipped art a bunch of times, and I skipped History once last year. And of course the old "MOOOM I DON'T FEEL GOOD"
