I'm not an AMD Fanboy, although I use an AMD Opteron, right now I would buy a Core 2 for the extra performance, but AMD looks like it'll outdo Intel again.  Then Intel will drive down its prices even more to compete, and they'll speed up production of whatever they're working on.  Everyone wins!

I believe Socket AM2 will be able to run the new AMD Phenom Processors, but Socket 939 is left out in the cold.
