Yes, and it's the worst god damn idea ever.

I have no way of organizing them. I have to shorten everything to a few words to conserve space. It's impossible to study with them. I learn nothing from them.

Really, wouldn't it make more sense to let the students take notes in their own style? I mean, just because it's been "proven" to work for the "majority," it doesn't mean it works for everybody. The worst they could do is just teach the students at the beginning of the year how to take Cornell notes, then suggest they do it because it's been supposedly proven to help. But forcing those that get nothing from them to take the notes? Well, it makes them suffer.

Hell, the reason I never do my English homework is because the notes I'm forced to take are so god damn useless to me. If I can't understand what I'm doing, I won't do it.

Jesus Christ, just let us do whatever works best for us, not what works for 20 people at some half-assed college.

In 5th grade they tried to get us to do it, In 7th grade they made us for grades, and then when I entered HS I don't have to worry about it, just bring in a tape recorder and press record and get the notes later.  caterpie;

In my school I would just write stupid shit. Notes make it hard for me to understand what the fuck the teacher is saying. Like school wasn't boring enough. I hate notes in college but teacher doesn't grade or look at them so yay.

I don't create a fucking rectangle for terms, another for sentences that won't fit, and another for a half page summary that only wastes my time.
