Jesus christ, 2 gigs isn't enough? psyduck;

I only have 512 megs, but I'm not constantly whining.

I have to run 3-D intensive modeling program for my communications technology class, and 3-D intensive graphing software for Math. I'm taking these classes so I don't have to take them in College, and I need the 3Gigs of RAM, it doesn't even have a video card, remember?

That's your fault. More RAM really isn't going to help when you don't have a graphics card.

Yes it will. The more RAM my processor gets, the more RAM it can share with the integrated graphics.

You don't install RAM inside of a processor. navi;

Besides, don't standard Macbooks only support 2 gigs? psyduck;

Did I say anything about installing the RAM "inside" the processor? What I meant was the more RAM you have, period, the more RAM the integrated graphics gets.

Apple says they only support 3 gigs because they want you to use pairs. Thousands of tests have proved that this is not true at all and using a 2 gig stick and a 1 gig stick works fine.
